Job Summary:
We are seeking a Freelance HV Cable Termination and Certification Trainer to provide specialized training and certification programs in High Voltage (HV) cable termination techniques. The trainer will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training sessions, conducting practical demonstrations, and assessing participants' skills to ensure competency in HV cable termination procedures.
Responsibilities:
1. Training Delivery:
· Develop and deliver training modules on HV cable termination techniques, including theory and practical aspects.
· Conduct hands-on training sessions and practical demonstrations to educate participants on proper cable termination procedures.
· Adapt training content and delivery methods to meet the needs of diverse audiences, including technicians, engineers, and industry professionals.
2. Certification Programs:
· Administer certification exams and assessments to evaluate participants' understanding and proficiency in HV cable termination.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in the design and implementation of certification programs.
· Issue certificates and credentials to successful candidates upon completion of training and assessment requirements.
3. Training Material Development:
· Develop training materials, presentations, and resources to support HV cable termination training programs.
· Update and revise training materials regularly to reflect industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
4. Quality Assurance:
· Maintain high standards of training quality and consistency across all training sessions and certification programs.
· Solicit feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve training content, delivery, and effectiveness.
5. Professional Development:
· Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in HV cable termination.
· Pursue opportunities for professional development and certification to enhance expertise in cable termination techniques and related fields.
Requirements:
· Proven experience and expertise in High Voltage (HV) cable termination techniques, preferably in an industrial or utility environment.
· Strong instructional skills and experience in delivering technical training programs to diverse audiences.
· Certification or qualifications in HV cable termination and related disciplines (e.g., electrical engineering, power systems).
· Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices governing HV cable termination.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively.
· Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate participants, facilitate learning, and assess competency.
· Proficiency in developing training materials, presentations, and assessments.
· Flexibility to travel to training locations as required and accommodate varying schedules and environments.

Education:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field is required.
· Additional certifications or specialized training in HV cable termination techniques are highly desirable.
Experience:
· Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in High Voltage (HV) cable termination, preferably in an industrial or utility setting.
· Proven track record of delivering technical training programs and conducting certification assessments in HV cable termination or related fields.
· Experience working with HV cable termination equipment, tools, and materials, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and industry standards.
Physical Skills:
· Proficiency in handling and operating HV cable termination equipment and tools, including cable terminations, connectors, splicing kits, and insulation materials.
· Physical dexterity and strength to perform hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises during training sessions.
· Ability to stand, bend, and lift equipment during training activities, as well as navigate various work environments, including construction sites and industrial facilities.
· Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries during training demonstrations.
