Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Freelance HSE Trainer to develop and deliver training programs focused on health, safety, and environmental practices in the workplace. The Freelance HSE Trainer will be responsible for designing engaging and effective training materials, conducting interactive training sessions, and providing support to participants. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices, as well as experience in adult education and training delivery.
Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
· Develop comprehensive training curriculum covering various aspects of health, safety, and environmental management in the workplace, including hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency response, accident prevention, and environmental sustainability.
· Create engaging training materials, including presentations, videos, case studies, and interactive exercises, to support learning objectives.
Training Delivery:
· Facilitate interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars on HSE topics for employees, supervisors, managers, and other stakeholders.
· Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods, such as lectures, group discussions, role-plays, simulations, and hands-on exercises, to enhance learning outcomes.
Regulatory Compliance:
· Ensure that training programs comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and guidelines, as well as industry-specific requirements.
· Provide updates on changes in regulations and standards that may impact HSE practices in the workplace.
Knowledge Transfer:
· Communicate complex HSE concepts in a clear and understandable manner, fostering knowledge transfer and skill development among participants.
· Provide practical examples, real-life scenarios, and case studies to illustrate HSE principles and their application in different work settings.
Hands-On Learning:
· Provide opportunities for participants to apply theoretical knowledge through hands-on exercises, safety drills, equipment demonstrations, and workplace inspections.
· Offer guidance, feedback, and coaching to help participants develop practical HSE skills and competencies.
Assessment and Feedback:
· Assess participant learning outcomes through quizzes, assessments, practical demonstrations, and performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
· Monitor participant progress and adjust training content and delivery as needed to ensure learning objectives are achieved.
Continuous Improvement:
· Stay updated on the latest trends, developments, and best practices in HSE management, incorporating new insights and innovations into training programs.
· Solicit feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve training content, delivery methods, and overall effectiveness.
Requirements:
· Proven expertise in health, safety, and environmental management, with comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
· Strong background in adult education, instructional design, or training delivery, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants in learning activities.
· Experience developing and delivering HSE training programs in corporate, industrial, or organizational settings, preferably with a focus on high-risk industries.
· Proficiency in creating training materials using multimedia tools, e-learning platforms, and interactive technologies.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt training content and delivery to meet the needs of different audiences and learning environments.
· Self-motivated and able to work independently, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
· Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules and deliver training sessions on-site or remotely as needed.
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
· Additional certifications or training in adult education, instructional design, or HSE training delivery is mandatory.
Location:
· Inspire Management Training Centre, with occasional travel for on-site training sessions as required.
Note: This is a freelance position with flexible hours and project-based assignments. Compensation will be based on experience and scope of work.
